Approval of HOSTEP by Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board

According to Decision No. 78/QĐ-CNCHL dated June 19, 2023, the project has been approved and allocated to Lot No. RD6-3, located in the Research and Development (R&D) zone within Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, Hanoi, Vietnam. The project is slated to span a duration of 50 years and is eligible for favorable incentives related to high-tech initiatives.

Southeast Asia Biotechnology center/Hoa Lac Stem cell group and Biotalentum Ltd, Hungary signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on study on using stem cell based models to screen anti-tumor active substances from Vietnamese medicinal plants

Both parties agree to conduct and promote research activities to (1) establish stem-cell based models for drug screening including using the human glioblastoma cells for anticancer screening and using human induced pluripotent stem (iPSC)-derived Neuronal Stem cells (iPSC-NPC) and neurons for neurotoxicity screening, (2) apply the developed model for screening chemical compounds extracted and purified from Vietnamese medicinal natural resources with anticancer potential, (3) study the methods of transformation of IPSCs into glioblastoma (stem) cells, and (4) develop scientific plans for further applications of stem cell based models in pharmaceutical industry including patent application, publication of research results, training and transfer of technology.

A stem-cell research consortium comprising HSC, Lung Lo 51 JSC, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT), Hanoi Ngan Nam JSC, Hanoi Medical University (HMU), and 108 Military Central Hospital has entered into an agreement for collaborative scientific, technological, and innovative development cooperation

HSC takes the leading role in initiating and designing a project focused on 3D stem cell culturing.

Hoa Lac Stem Cell JSC signed MOU with Hucord on a joint cooperation for stem cell resesearch and development in Vietnam

On September 27, 2017, Bui Xuan Nguyen, the General Director of HSC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yoon Jung-Cheol, CEO of Hucord Corporation (http://eng.hucord.com/), at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Vietnam, marking a collaborative effort in cord blood storage and stem cell research.

Cooperation for Developing Stem Cell Technology in Hoa Lac Hi – Tech Park

With the aim at promoting the development and application of stem cell technology in Vietnam, Vice Minister of Science and Technology cum Chairman of Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Dr. Nguyen Van Lang; Vice Minister of Health cum Director of the Central Obstetrics Hospital, Prof. Nguyen Viet Tien along with representatives of HSC Company; Hi-tech Business Incubator; and Nano Biology Center signed a memorandum of understanding to build and develop stem cell technology in Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park on 3 August, 2011.
